This scale captures how favorably a person views AI-generated advertising content, both in terms of personal use and perceived benefit to others. Arango, Singaraju, and Niininen (2023) appear to have created the scale for a supplementary study on AI-generated charitable ads.

Reliability was good (α = .84; Arango, Singaraju, and Niininen 2023, Supplementary material, p. 1), based on 88 participants from a Prolific.co panel. Validity was not discussed. The items may tap two related but distinct ideas — personal benefit versus benefit to another party — so users should examine dimensionality before use. Fill the blank in the third item with the name of the entity expected to benefit.
