This scale measures how original, innovative, and useful a store is perceived to be. Grewal et al. (2023) used it in Study 2, with a final MTurk sample of 1,154, in research on how inspirational versus deal-oriented in-store communication affects spending. Although written for a store, the items could readily be applied to products, ads, or activities.

Alpha was .86 in Study 2 (Grewal et al. 2023, Web Appendix G); validity was not discussed. Items were scored 1 to 9, with higher scores indicating a more novel store. The scale appears to have been created by the authors. See also Novelty of the Product (ID 90048).
