What it measures

This scale measures how confident a person feels in their ability to predict another individual's behaviors, values, attitudes, and feelings. Thomson, Jeffrey, and Johnson (2023) used it, calling it certainty of meaning, to test how well audiences feel they know a celebrity following character-endorsement exposure.
