Behavioral Inhibition/Activation System Scales

What it measures

Measures two neurobiological motivational systems derived from Gray's reinforcement sensitivity theory. BIS governs responses to punishment signals; BAS governs responses to reward and appetitive stimuli. Widely used in emotion, personality, and psychopathology research.
