Langer Mindfulness Scale

What it measures

Measures mindfulness as a socio-cognitive orientation — the capacity to notice new distinctions, remain flexible, be present-centered, and engage with context — distinct from the meditative/Eastern tradition measured by MAAS and FFMQ. Particularly relevant in organisational, educational, and social psychology contexts.
