Positive Parenting Program – Child Behaviour Checklist

What it measures

The most widely used standardised parent-report measure of behavioural and emotional problems in children aged 6–18. Derives age- and gender-normed T-scores across eight empirically derived syndromes and three broad-band scales (Internalising, Externalising, Total Problems). Foundational to developmental psychopathology research.

• Argues a lot. (Aggressive)
• Can't concentrate, can't pay attention for long. (Attention)
• Can't get his/her mind off certain thoughts. (Anxious/Thought)
• Feels or complains that no one loves him/her. (Anxious/Depressed)
