What it measures

Measures the wellbeing benefits of holidays and travel across health, mood, energy, and sleep quality dimensions. The fade-out effect — wellbeing benefits dissipate within 2–4 weeks of return — is the central finding. Widely used in tourism wellbeing research to quantify the subjective value of travel and design restorative tourism experiences.
