A clinical screener for compulsive buying — a consumer disorder characterised by chronic, repetitive purchasing as a response to negative events or feelings, despite harmful consequences. The CBS uses a regression-based scoring formula to classify respondents as compulsive buyers vs. non-compulsive buyers.
