Measures the intensity of inspiration experienced by a person following an encounter with something that moved them to act. Originally developed by Thrash and Elliot (2003, 2004) as the Intensity subscale of the Inspiration Scale, this measure focuses on the subjective experience of a transient inspirational state rather than an enduring trait disposition. Items are general and applicable across many contexts where momentary inspiration is of interest. Used by Böttger et al. (2017) to help validate new customer inspiration component scales, providing convergent validity evidence; AVE values of .93 and .91 were reported across two studies.
