Captures the 'inspired to' component of customer inspiration — a motivational state in which a stimulus drives the consumer toward a purchase-related goal. Items assess desire, urge, motivation, and interest to buy something as a result of the inspirational experience. One of two subscales of a broader second-order customer inspiration construct.

Companion to the Customer Inspiration – Activation subscale (ID 766). Alphas ranged .92–.98 across five studies. AVEs were very strong (.70–.91). Developed through multi-stage scale development from 93 candidate items, reduced to 18, then to a 5-item short form. Evidence of content, discriminant, convergent, predictive, and known-groups validity.
