Usage notes & scoring

The scale was reliable (α = .94; Khamitov and Puzakova 2022, Web Appendix J) based on a pretest sample of 79 participants. Validity was not separately reported. Though item wording does not reference brands explicitly, the scale was applied to brand names in this study and could extend to other name types (e.g., organization or personal names).
