Order release quantities reflects customers' perceptions of a logistics service provider's flexibility and willingness to fulfil the quantities they request without imposing restrictive constraints. The construct captures the degree to which customers can obtain their desired order volumes without encountering challenges to requisition quantities or experiencing difficulties related to minimum or maximum release thresholds. Product availability has long been recognised as a foundational component of logistics excellence.
