This scale measures how positive a consumer's impressions and intentions are toward a product immediately after receiving a recommendation from a consultant or advisor. D'Angelo and Valsesia (2023) used it in two studies, involving artwork and cookies, to test how combinatory recommendations shape post-recommendation product attitudes.

The scale was reliable in both studies (α = .90 in Study 4 and Study 5; D'Angelo and Valsesia 2023, pp. 163, 164). It showed discriminant validity from a measure of the consultant's product knowledge, with average variance extracted of .79 and .75, respectively. The scale works best for products consumers can sample or preview before purchase, such as viewing artwork or tasting a cookie.
