Hilken et al. (2020), who refer to the construct as POV sharing, created this scale (alongside a companion measure) after reviewing literature on socially situated cognition; used as a manipulation check across two studies involving a shared room-color decision. Reliability was good (α = .83–.86). Validity wasn't formally discussed, though successful use as a manipulation check in both studies offers some indirect support.
