What it measures

The student adaptation of the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, measuring academic engagement across three dimensions: vigour (energy and resilience while studying), dedication (finding studies meaningful, inspiring, and challenging), and absorption (being fully concentrated and immersed in studies). Widely used as the criterion measure in student burnout and engagement research.
