Tezer and Bodur (2020) built this scale by adapting one item each from four different established sources (Nunes & Schokkaert 2003; Arora & Henderson 2007; Schnall, Roper, & Fessler 2010; Andrews et al. 2014); used six times across the paper and its appendix. Reliability was consistently strong to excellent (α = .90–.96). Factor analyses in four studies supported unidimensionality, and discriminant validity was demonstrated relative to enjoyment, purchase intention, willingness to pay, and social worth (AVEs = .543–.856). This is a companion to another scale from the same paper already on this site, Social Worth.
