This scale measures how inappropriate and uncomfortable a person feels about sharing a company's coupon with a friend, both in general and specifically via social media. Fang, Dong, Zhuang, and Cai (2023) used it in a study on shared coupons and experience cocreation.

Reliability was very high (α = .963; Fang et al. 2023, p. 457), though one possible concern should be noted: the first four items (general sharing) and last four items (Facebook-specific sharing) may represent related but distinct sub-constructs, and a factor analysis would be needed to confirm unidimensionality. The scale appears to have been created by the authors for this study; the item phrasing is somewhat repetitive and could be tightened. The blanks should be filled with the name of the focal company or brand.
