Reliability was very high (α = .96; Ahlbom et al. 2023, p. 999). Two of the four items were adapted from an earlier state self-control measure; the other two appear to have been created by the authors. The scale was also used successfully as a manipulation check, offering preliminary support for its predictive validity. The blank should be filled with a word or phrase referring to the focal activities.
