Five items measure how mentally drained, unfocused, and low on willpower a person feels at the current moment. Sinha and Bagchi (2019) selected the items from Twenge, Muraven, and Tice's (2004) 25-item State Self-Control Capacity Scale and used them in two studies with undergraduate students.
