What it measures

The scale measures a person's momentary sense of their own morality, capturing how good or virtuous they currently feel rather than a stable trait.

9-point Likert (1=strongly disagree, 9=strongly agree)

Usage notes & scoring

Source not stated by Huang and Labroo (2021), who used the scale with MTurk participants. Reliability was strong (α = .92). Validity wasn't separately assessed.
