This thirteen-item scale measures how often a person expects to carry out a range of environmentally friendly behaviours over a coming period, such as saving water and electricity, buying products with less packaging or recycled content, choosing low-emission transport, and donating to environmental causes. Xu, Zhao, Cotte, and Cui (2023) used it with MTurk participants in research on how a cyclical view of time encourages pro-environmental behaviour. No source was stated, although several items resemble those in scales by Roberts (1996) and Hartmann, Apaolaza, and Eisend (2016).

Alpha was .89 (Study 4A, n = 339) (Xu et al. 2023, p. 733); validity was not discussed. Directions: 'Please indicate how often you will do the behaviors in the coming six months.' The time frame can be changed with small edits to the directions and items, including a past-tense version (e.g., how often the behaviours were performed in the last six months) to measure reported rather than expected behaviour. Item 7 uses a specific temperature threshold that may need adjusting for local conditions.
