Belief in Luck (State)

BLKSMomentary Luck Belief
5 items 2020 α 0.95–0.96 Free Hock, S.J., Bagchi, R., & Anderson, T.M.

What it measures

A five-item scale measuring a consumer's current, momentary sense of being lucky — the subjective belief that fortune is favouring them right now. All items are explicitly time-anchored to the present moment ('right now', 'today'), distinguishing this state measure from dispositional beliefs in luck as a stable personal trait. Items tap current lucky-day perception, sense of luck working in one's favour, and feeling of being in a lucky period.
