A three-item sentence-completion scale measuring consumer perceptions of an energy drink's functional performance — specifically whether consuming it would improve power, increase endurance, and help one stay active. Items complete a stem describing what the product will do for the consumer. Developed as a manipulation check for product efficacy perceptions in retail display research, the scale is applicable to any functional performance context where physical or energy-related claims are the focus.
