A four-item sentence-completion scale measuring consumer perceptions of a household cleaner's functional performance — specifically whether it would effectively clean surfaces, kill germs, remove grease and stains, and leave a pleasant scent. Items complete a stem describing what the product will do. Developed as a manipulation check for product efficacy in retail display research. Companion to the Energy Drink Efficacy scale, both from the same paper.
