Sarial-Abi and Ulqinaku (2020) borrowed this scale from Okazaki, Mueller, and Taylor (2010), who along with Sarial-Abi and Ulqinaku treated it as a measure of purchase intention rather than interest per se — worth keeping in mind when selecting a label for your own use. Reliability was strong (α = .88–.91) across two studies. Validity wasn't discussed by either set of authors.
