The scale assesses perceived effort a reviewer put into writing a review, a cue readers use to judge review credibility and usefulness.

Usage notes & scoring

Source not stated by Wu, Jin, and Xu (2021), who used the scale with MTurk participants. Reliability was strong (α = .92). Validity wasn't separately discussed.
