Usage notes & scoring

The scale was reliable across pretests for three experiments (α = .85, .83, .90; Lieberman, Morales, and Amir 2022, pp. 456, 457, 462) among University of California San Diego students. Validity was not separately discussed. The authors note it could be adapted to measure boredom with other stimuli, such as a movie, commercial, or concert.
