What it measures
Nine items measure the degree to which a patient follows the instructions of a nurse or healthcare provider in a structured weight loss programme, covering diet, exercise, food supplementation, and journaling.

Usage notes & scoring
Developed in consultation with the director of research at a weight loss clinic. Alpha .80. Items 5 and 9 are reverse-scored. Item 2 contains an extraction artefact numeral; verify full wording against original article. Blanks should be replaced with the clinic or programme name.
