This scale measures how much a person enjoys consuming products and services that originate from other countries rather than sticking to local options. Bartsch, Zeugner-Roth, and Katsikeas (2022) used it as one facet of cosmopolitanism in a study on consumer authenticity seeking; Nie, Yang, Zhang, and Janakiraman (2022) later used it in a study on global-local identity.
